  • October 1997: Joined KPMG Century Audit Corporation (now KPMG AZSA LLC). Conducted Securities Exchange Law and Commercial Code audits for financial institutions, and audits of U.S. SEC-registered companies. Also engaged in IPO consulting for start-ups, stock valuation, corporate restructuring consulting, and privatization support for public agencies.
  • February 2004: Transferred to KPMG LLP New York Office as a local hire. Responsible for audits of Japanese and U.S. companies.
  • September 2006: Founded Phoenix Accounting Group.
  • November 2009: Founded Omotesando Tax Corporation.
  • April 2012: Established Phoenix Accounting Singapore Pte. Ltd.
  • 2013–2017: Served as CFO for a Singapore IPO project.
  • September 2017: Established PHOENIX CORPORATE ADVISORY MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. Supports Japanese and foreign companies in Singapore market entry, international accounting & tax advisory, cross-border M&A, and investment structuring.
  • June 2023: Established Phoenix Accountants & Professionals India Private Limited.

  • October 2011: Established APM Japan Consulting in Indonesia.
  • June 2017: Established PT. Phoenix Strategy Indonesia.
  • January 2020: Established Phoenix Accounting (Thailand) Limited.

Daisuke NAKAMURA

Daisuke NAKAMURA

Managing Member / Japan
CPA, Tax Accountant

  • After graduating from university, joined Hitachi System & Service, Ltd. (now Hitachi Solutions, Ltd.) as a systems engineer, working on financial institution systems development.
  • Resigned at the end of 2004 to pursue a career as a CPA.
  • Passed the CPA examination in 2007. From December of that year, joined Shin Nihon & Co. (now Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC) and engaged in domestic audit engagements.
  • Seconded to Strike, Inc. in 2013, then transferred in 2016. Over ten years, engaged in M&A brokerage for Japanese SMEs while also conducting M&A training sessions primarily for CPAs and tax accountants.
  • January 2024: Joined Phoenix Accounting Group Co., Ltd. Provides accounting and tax services as well as M&A advisory.
